About Us

Howard J Miller, P.E., was a visionary structural engineer whose expertise played a pivotal role in shaping the skyline of Southeast Florida. From 1978 to 1992, he inspected the foundations for numerous iconic high-rise buildings in the region. His innovative engineering solutions and commitment to structural integrity contributed to the development of durable and resilient structures that have stood the test of time. Howard was the founder of the Company.

Steve D Young, P.E., S.I., is the second generation of structural engineers at Howard J Miller. He succeeded his step-father, Howard J Miller, P.E., in 1992, carrying forward the legacy of excellence in structural engineering and high-rise building certification inspections. Steve has continued to provide expert services to condominium communities in Southeast Florida, ensuring the safety and integrity of their buildings through the present day. Steve is the Company Past-President and Special Inspector.

Art Dylan O’Berry, P.E., is the third generation of professional engineers at Howard J Miller. With a strong background in structural design, inspection and testing, Dylan is well-equipped to continue providing exceptional service to Southeast Florida. His expertise in evaluating building systems, including foundations, framing, and exterior envelopes, ensures that Howard J Miller remains a trusted partner for condominium communities in the region.
